L\u2019une de ses motivations \u00e9tait de pouvoir aider \u00e0 soigner les gens, tout en contribuant au maintien et au r\u00e9tablissement de leur sant\u00e9 dans le partage de ses connaissances.<\/p>\n<p>Il a r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9but\u00e9 une formation universitaire en soins de la sant\u00e9 afin de revisiter les bases scientifiques actuelles, tels la biologie, l\u2019anatomie, la physiologie, le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de la douleur, la neuropsychologie tout en tentant de faire des liens, de comprendre, de chercher \u00e0 d\u00e9mystifier ces pratiques empiriques, et qui sait, peut-\u00eatre pouvoir \u00e9ventuellement communiquer mieux avec la communaut\u00e9 scientifique actuelle au sujet des m\u00e9canismes sous-jacents de l\u2019acupuncture. On peut aujourd\u2019hui affirmer qu\u2019il y a des donn\u00e9es probantes pour l\u2019appuyer.<\/p>\n<p>En compl\u00e9ment de sa formation initiale, il cumule pr\u00e8s de 1000 heures de formation continue sur les sciences de la sant\u00e9, la m\u00e9decine traditionnelle orientale; tel que l\u2019acupuncture, la pharmacop\u00e9e chinoise, le tuina, le Qi Gong ainsi que la relation d\u2019aide et la gestion. Il vient tout juste de compl\u00e9ter un certificat en r\u00e9adaptation sensorielle et motrice de l&#8217;UQAT et a d\u00e9but\u00e9 une formation de th\u00e9rapeute en Qi Gong M\u00e9dical (programme de formation du \u00ab International Medical Qi Gong College \u00bb). Il d\u00e9tient aussi une ceinture noire 5e dan en Taekwon-do ITF et le titre d\u2019Instructeur international dans cette m\u00eame discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Durant cette entrevue, Eric Simard, docteur en biologie et chercheur (www.esimard.com), s\u2019entretiendra avec Sylvain Audet pour parler d\u2019acupuncture.
